All referrals for behavioral support can be initiated by contacting the Metro Crisis Coordination Program at 612-869-6811
Monday Through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
MCCP provides:
Early intervention assessments and crisis support planning.
Technical assistance and training to families, day programs, residential programs and care providers serving people with developmental disabilities.
Caregiver and provider training programs relating to the utilization of sound behavioral principals.
A 24-hour cell phone number
Administrative coordination by maintaining a centralized database of additional behavioral support services that are available to individuals and others engaged in supporting people with developmental disabilities.
MCCP will facilitate the referral process for more extensive and /or specialized services.
MCCP actively supports and refers individuals and providers to:
State Operated Community Services
Longer term assessment and support services provided by private agencies and companies
Longer term behavioral support provided by the state agencies
Ancillary supports such as transitional housing and temporary augmentation of staff.
